As a reminder, a digital safe, or electronic safe, is a document dematerialization tool that enables the virtual, personal storage of sensitive documents such as pay slips, contracts, invoices and so on. It is accessible only to its owner, via a secure identification system.

NF203 CCFN certification enables publishers to demonstrate that their solution complies with the NFZ42-020 standard.
To guarantee the quality and integrity of the documents and data stored in digital safes, INFOCERT has worked with a number of experts to develop the certification NF203 CCFN CERTIFICATION.
It is used, among other things, to demonstrate that a digital safe complies with the NFZ42-020 standard, and to verify the functional specifications of a digital safe designed to store digital data under conditions that guarantee their integrity over time.
NF203 CCFN certification ensures that the basic functionalities of a digital safe are respected, and that these functionalities are correctly assigned to the various user roles.

For companies wishing to respond to calls for tender related to digital safes and NFZ42-020, it is important to ensure that their solution meets the following roles and functions:
The basic roles of a digital safe :
- The general user: who must be able to create functional users, for example, but not be able to read an object in a simple user's safe.
- The functional user : who must be able to create simple users, for example, but not be able to destroy an object in a simple user's safe.
- The simple user: who, for example, needs to be able to interact with his digital safe without being able to modify the functions assigned to it.

- Deposit a digital object in one of two ways
- Its reading
- Its destruction
- Reading the technical metadata associated with a digital object
